Technology Development Support Project For SMEs

General Provisions

1. "Management Organization" refers to an organization for the efficient management and management of technology development projects such as on-site evaluation, investigation and progress check.

2. "Specialized Institution" means an agency designated by the Minister of Small and Medium-Sized Venture Enterprise to perform tasks such as planning, evaluation and management of technology development projects.

3. "Host Organization" means an organization, organization or enterprise that conducts the technical development of the technology development project task.
4. "Joint development institution" means an institution, organization or corporation that has the same authority and obligation as the competent authority and performs joint development with the competent authority.

5. "Participating Enterprise" means a small and medium-sized enterprise that takes part of technology development expenses and participates in the task for the purpose of utilizing the results of technology development.

6. "Contracting Research Institute" means an organization that commissioned and executed a part of the technology development project task from the host institution as stipulated by the Convention.

7. "Executing Agency" means any organization, corporation or enterprise participating in the Technology Development Project.

8. "Problem Task" means a task that is suspected or suspected to be a cause of suspension or inaction, violation of the regulation or violation of the agreement.

9. "Evaluation Committee" refers to a committee for evaluating the assignment, selection, phase, final evaluation, progress check, integrity test, amendment / termination of the agreement, and problem task.

10. "Committee on Sanctions" refers to a committee that deliberates on subjects such as problems, fees, settlements, and refunds, as well as the scope and scope of sanctions.

11. "Development Period" means the period from the start of the project to the end of the project.

12. "Assignment Task" means an assignment submitted by an organization, organization or company to the SME Technology Development Task Management System (hereinafter referred to as the "Integrated Management System") in order to receive the task selection evaluation.

13. "Support Project" means the project selected for the support of the technology development project.

14. "Checking Progress" means reviewing and confirming the contents of the progress report such as the achievement of the project, the progress of the project, and the details of the expense of the project based on the date of the report.

15. "Step Evaluation" refers to the evaluation process for determining whether to continue to support the technical development results after reviewing and deliberating the technical development report and the next step business plan.

16. "Final Evaluation" is a final evaluation of completion or incompleteness of the development project through the holding of evaluation committee for each project or technical field for the project whose development period or technology development has been completed. It is possible to distinguish the success of commercialization.

17. "Completion Task" means a task that has been judged as "completed" by the final evaluation of the tasks whose development period or technology development has been completed.

18. The term "Technical Fee" means the fee for the completion of the final evaluation of the technology development project pursuant to the provisions of Article 3, Paragraph 1, It refers to the amount paid to the owning institution.
19. "Intellectual Property Rights" means rights related to patent rights, utility model rights, trademark rights, design rights, copyrights and other intellectual property rights, which are defined by law or are legally protected.

20. "Performance Utilization" refers to the act of pursuing technological and economic benefits by utilizing the tangible and intangible outputs resulting from the performance of the project.

21. "Research misconduct" refers to the act of conducting research and development in a fraudulent manner, such as forgery or alteration of R & D data or results, plagiarism, or display of unjustified authors.

22. "Technology Development Fee Point System" (hereinafter referred to as "point system") refers to real-time R & D fund management and management system introduced in order to prevent the misuse and abuse of funds in violation of research purpose in advance and to ensure transparency of the flow of funds.
23. "Online Evaluation" refers to the selection of SME technology development support projects. Selection of evaluation committee, operation and notification of results to enhance expertise, fairness, transparency, and convenience of evaluation. Evaluation method to perform overall assessment procedure using online evaluation system .

24. "Industry-University Cooperation Coordinator" refers to a person who has completed the training of cooperative coordinator for industry-academy and research and passed the qualification examination.

25. "Challenges" refers to the tasks recognized by the Minister of Small and Medium-sized Venture Enterprise in accordance with Article 13-2.
